Strawberry Ninja Creami Sorbet Recipe
This is my recipe for a delicious Strawberry Ninja Creami Sorbet:
Ingredients:
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the hulls (the green leafy tops). Cut them in half to ensure they blend smoothly.
- Blend the Mixture:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the strawberries, water, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Chill the Mixture:
- Pour the mixture into a shallow pan and spread it evenly. Place the pan in the freezer for about 2-3 hours or until it becomes firm but still scoopable.
- Scrape and Serve:
- Once frozen, use a fork to scrape the sorbet mixture into a fluffy, icy texture. This step gives it the “shaved ice” effect.
- Optional Garnish:
- For extra flair, you can garnish with fresh mint leaves or a few extra chopped strawberries on top.
